2nd phase of election trainings for poll personnel concludes at Srinagar

SRINAGAR, Sept 11: In run-up to the General Elections to Legislative Assembly-2024, the 2nd phase of Election Trainings for Poll Personnel to be deployed in all Eight Assembly Constituencies of Srinagar District concluded here today.
The Training Sessions which are a part of the District Election Office's Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program were carried out on the directions of District Election Officer(DEO) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat at Eight different locations across the District. While paying visits to training venues, Dr. Bilal applauded the efforts of Master Trainers in equipping the Election manpower with required skills during elections and stressed on intensifying the training sessions to leave no scope for errors during the process of upcoming Assembly Elections.
Dr. Bilal further said that the Administration is fully geared up with all machinery for smooth conduct of the Elections and is making significant arrangements for the welfare of poll personnel before and on the day of Polling.
The Master Trainers deputed by the DEO delivered exhaustive training sessions to equip the participating Employees with skills and knowledge to operate polling machinery on the day of elections. During the sessions, the participating Employees were given hands on experience to operate and manage Poll Machinery on the day of Polls and were also trained how to handle emergencies, manage crowds and to address issues of security. While delivering his exhaustive session, Coordinator Trainings for Srinagar, Dr. Manzoor Reshi ensured that the Employees have a clear understanding of the Election Laws, Rules and Regulations which, as the Election Staff, have to follow in the Election process.
The special instructions were conveyed by Dr. Reshi to the participating Employees for strictly following the Poll guidelines for ensuring free and fair Assembly Elections in Srinagar.
