| TWS organises relief distribution function | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 11: A Relief Distribution Function was organised by Tawi Welfare Society today at Apnavan Sure Chak in which 100 Ration Kits were distributed among the needy families of society. Dr. Sunita Kapoor Major General (Retd) was the Chief Guest at this occasion who distributed the Ration Kits. She appreciated the selflessly work being done by the volunteers of Tawi Welfare Society for the downtrodden section of society.
She assured her full support to TWS in its activities. Society members presented a Memento to the Guest at this time. A Plantation Drive was also launched by the Society under Slogan "Ek Pedh Maa Ke Naam." More than 100 saplings were planted at this occasion. Dr. Kapoor also planted some saplings there. Dinesh Gupta former Secretary IRCS Jammu was also present in the function. Nand Kishor Senior Member of Tawi Welfare Society welcomed the Chief Guest and also thanked her for sparing her valuable time for the function. |
