EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Mar 24-A delegation of Kashmiri Pandits today met former Chief Minister and patron of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mufti Mohammed Sayeed at his residence and apprised him of various problems faced by the community. The main points which were discussed were fulfillment of 6000 posts of the youth of displaced community, passing of temple Bill, enhancement of cash relief, special drive for recruitment of youth in currently ongoing recruitment of IRP battalions of J&K Police. They laid special emphasis for return of migrants back to valley. Speaking on the occasion, Mufti assured the delegation that a policy decision will be made by the PDP regarding above problems faced by the displaced community and same will be perused by the party. The deputation comprised Ramesh Kaul, Rajinder Koul, Ashok Bhat, A. K. Raina, M. K. Pandita, J. N. Bhat, O.N. Hakoo, B. L. Bhat, Romesh Pandita, Shuban Jee Bhat, Baldev Singh and S.N. Bhat. |
