9/11/2024 10:27:05 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 11: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today assumed the charge of Incharge Election Committee, BJP, Jammu and Kashmir, in the presence of G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister & In-charge, BJP, J&K, Tarun Chug, BJP National General Secretary and party workers at BJP headquarters Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, G. Kishan Reddy and Tarun Chug felicitated Kavinder Gupta on his new responsibility. They expressed confidence in his leadership and ability to steer the party towards success in the forthcoming Assembly elections.
Reddy further praised Kavinder's vast experience and commitment to the party's principles, while Chug lauded his strategic acumen and his role in strengthening the BJP's presence in the region.
Kavinder Gupta, in his address, thanked the party leadership for entrusting him with this crucial role. He assured that the BJP, under his guidance, would work tirelessly to achieve the objectives set forth by the Party and continue to uphold the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a prosperous and developed Jammu and Kashmir.
Reacting strongly to the recent statement made by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, who claimed that if Congress secured more than 20 seats in the Lok Sabha polls, it would "crush the BJP," Kavinder said, "This statement reflects the mentality and ideology of the Congress, a party that once imposed the Emergency to crush the voice of the people. Now, once again, the Congress leadership shows their disregard for democratic values by making such dangerous comments."
Kavinder emphasized that it is the people who are the true judges in a democracy. "The people of Jammu and Kashmir will give a fitting reply to the Congress in the upcoming Assembly polls, just as they have done in the past. We believe in the power of democracy, and the BJP stands firm in its commitment to the welfare and development of the region."
The event concluded with party leaders reaffirming their resolve to ensure BJP's victory in the upcoming elections, confident that the people will stand by them in their mission to build a stronger and united Jammu and Kashmir.
