Sham Sharma calls for uprooting Congress-NC misrule
9/11/2024 10:28:07 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 11: Stepping up his election campaign in Jammu North constituency, senior BJP leader and party nominee today said that holistic development with restoration of peace, rich history, heritage and dogri culture is the poll plank of BJP. He said that successive governments in Jammu and Kashmir undermined the development and honour of Jammuties, and BJP after coming to power will focus to bring these on track.
Addressing the people at different wards in Jammu North, the Minister said that people have experienced the step-motherly treatment of Congress-NC governments with the Jammu region and its people on every front during the past over seven decades, and now this is the golden opportunity to give befitting reply to these selfish and Kashmir centric parties in the upcoming elections with the power of their vote and electing the BJP for doing away all these discrepancies and better future of coming generations. He said these parties only promoted the culture of appeasement, nepotism and dynasty system, ignoring the fundamental issues, of employment, developing sustainable health, education, power and road infrastructure, with the result the people continued to suffer for want of these issues.
Recalling the dreaded militancy and unstable law and order situation in Jammu Kashmir for over three decades, Mr. Sham said that it was all because of the wrong and anti-people policies of these political parties that took thousands of innocent lives and destroyed Jammu and Kashmir. He said thousands of crores of Central funds were misused in the name of development of infrastructure, but did nothing on ground, and essential infrastructure is still in dilapidated conditions. BJP's welfare schemes enshrined in the party's Sankalap Patra have been tailored strictly keeping in mind the needs of people, especially women folk and marginalized sections of the society he asserted.
Questioning the credibility of the so-called NC-Congress alliance, Sham said that both these parties have lost their grounds in Jammu Kashmir, and are now trying to woo the innocent people by offering freebies. He said now the people are vigilant and wise enough to analyze who can deliver for them and this time they will elect the BJP's exclusive government which will have the strength of a double engine. The Central Government headed by dynamic leadership of PM, Narender Modi will support Jammu and Kashmir wholeheartedly to fulfil the aspirations of the people. He appealed to the people to elect the BJP, which is the only force that can ensure good governance, peace, all round development and better future in Jammu and Kashmir.
