District Jammu triumphs over district Samba 3-0 in Inter-District U-19 Football Final at Khel Goan Nagrota

JAMMU, Sept 12: In a thrilling final of the Inter-District Division Level Football Competition for U-19 boys, District Jammu secured a decisive 3-0 victory over District Samba at Khel Goan, Nagrota. The tournament, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), concluded today with enthusiastic participation from various districts.
The competition, held under the patronage of Director General Youth Services and Sports JK UT, Rajinder Singh Tara (JKAS), was guided by Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu, Ved Parkash (JKAS), and supervised by DYSSO Jammu, Sunil Kumar Sharma, along with in-charge DYSSO Jammu, Harvinder Kour, and I/C ZPEO Dansal, Dinesh Kumar.
The tournament provided a valuable platform for young footballers to showcase their skills and demonstrate sportsmanship. The event was conducted by experts in the department, including Taranpal Singh, Raman Kumar, Rohit Gupta, and other technical officials. In the semi-final matches, District Jammu defeated District Rajouri 3-0, while District Samba triumphed over District Udhampur 2-0. In the final, District Jammu outclassed District Samba with another 3-0 victory, securing the championship.
I/C ZPEO Dansal, Dinesh Kumar, appreciated the players' efforts, encouraging them to continue playing with dedication and team spirit. He distributed trophies and certificates to both the winners and runners-up, applauding their commitment throughout the tournament.
