Jammu to decide next Govt for J&K, says Rana

JAMMU, Sept 12: Former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Mr Anurag Thakur today asserted that Jammu and Kashmir will be among the three top developed and progressive states of the country in the next five years, as per vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing a massive rally at Excise Toll Plaza, Nagrota after the filing of nomination papers by Senior BJP leader and the party candidate for the Nagrota Assembly Constituency this afternoon, Mr Thakur sought vote and support for the BJP to take forward Jammu and Kashmir to new scales of progress and prosperity with focus on restoration of complete normalcy and consolidation of the peace brought post abrogation of Article 370.
Thakur castigated the National Conference, the Congress and the PDP for their rhetoric on Article 370, saying this can never be brought back as long as Mr Narendra Modi is in power. He accused these parties of pushing back Jammu and Kashmir to morass again by providing oxygen to terrorism and separatism, releasing terrorists and stone pelters, as they believe in politics of graveyards. He said the three dynastic parties' thirst for blood does not seem to have quenched after the death of over 45,000 people in terror violence, which is why they are seeking repeal of the Public Safety Act from Jammu and Kashmir, he said and asked how low they can get for lust of power. He referred to the divisive and disastrous agenda furthered from Jawaharlal Nehru to now Rahul Gandhi and said that their only agenda has been to satiate their nefarious interests.
Lauding the people in assembling such huge numbers, Mr Thakur said this reflects that Nagrota Constituency is going to emerge as the number one constituency for the BJP getting a huge mandate on October 8.
