Congress, NC responsible for making JK as battlefield for Pak sponsored militancy: Sham
9/12/2024 11:06:13 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 12: Making sardonic attack on Congress and National Conference (NC), senior BJP leader and party candidate for Jammu North constituency, Sham Lal Sharma today said that due to anti-people and anti-India policies of these parties, Jammu and Kashmir became a battlefield for Pak sponsored militancy for over three decades that has taken thousands of innocent lives. Addressing party workers and people at different places in Jammu North constituency, Sham said both these parties are responsible for creating disorder, lawlessness and economic crisis in Jammu Kashmir which also led to the unfortunate exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the valley. Leaders of these parties stayed away from the trouble torn Valley and kept the people at the mercy of God in the critical time. People remember the irresponsible and casual attitude of these parties in tackling the situation, and will give appropriate response to these forces in the upcoming elections, said Mr. Sham. Maintaining that the unholy alliance of Congress-NC which has been formed to grab power once again by misleading the innocent masses, promising restoration of Article 370, releasing militants and other anti-national elements from jails, and distribution of freebies to people. But fact is that they have no moral right to advocate the cause of people as they did not deliver on ground and made only false promises for the past over six decades. People understand their objective and design and this time nothing will work and both these parties will suffer serious defeat in the elections, Sham asserted. Sham appealed to the people to vote and support BJP wholeheartedly in the upcoming elections, ensuring victory of the party for sustained peace, prosperity, security and overall welfare of Jammu Kashmir. He said BJP has always advocated for peace, dignity and holistic development of every nook and corner of Jammu Kashmir without any discrimination in the name of caste, creed and colour. Its people-friendly policies are for every section of the society and all are equally availing their benefits.
