Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 12: In an ongoing crackdown on drug peddling, Jammu Police has attached two residential properties in the Ragoora area, valued at ?1.04 crore, under Section 68-F(1) of the NDPS Act 1985. The properties belong to notorious drug peddlers Javed Ahmed, son of Abdul Ghani, and his son Abdul Majeed, also known as Bhallu, both residents of Lower Ragoora (Dawara), Jammu.
The properties were found to have been acquired through proceeds from narcotics trade, confirmed by an assessment conducted by the Revenue and R&B Departments. These individuals are linked to multiple drug-related FIRs, including cases from PS Nagrota, PS Janipur, and PS Bagh-e-Bahu.
Jammu Police, under the supervision of SP South, Ajay Sharma, continues to take firm action against drug peddlers, freezing several properties across the region in recent months.
