Government Polytechnic Jammu concludes successful 3-days induction programme

JAMMU, Sept 13: Government Polytechnic Jammu proudly announces the successful completion of a three-days induction programme aimed at welcoming and orienting the new batch of students for the academic year-2024. The event was designed to provide an engaging and informative introduction to the institution, its values, and the academic journey ahead. The induction programme began with an inaugural session, where Er Arun Bangotra Principal Government Polytechnic Jammu delivered a warm welcome address. He emphasized the institution's commitment to academic excellence, skill development, and holistic growth. The session was followed by an overview of the curriculum, facilities, and resources available to students.
On the 2nd Day, the focus shifted to interactive workshops and seminars conducted by esteemed faculty members. These sessions covered a range of topics, including academic expectations, discipline, and effective study techniques. Students also had the opportunity to engage in group activities designed to foster teamwork and communication skills. On the final day, Sh. Chamel Singh PEM, shared with students the various sports activities being conducted in institution. He encouraged the students to actively take part in the inter department sports competitions. Lt. Rishab Sharma NCC officer in his addressed the students about the NCC unit of the college and achievements of the cadets and the benefits of joining the NCC. Sh. Dhiraj Kumar NSS program officer also highlighted the activities of the NSS and invited the students to be part of College NSS wing for their all-round development through social service. Sh Amit Gupta Incharge Unnat Bharat Abhyan also encouraged students to take part in the activities of UBA. Sh Sanam Gupta Incharge Red Ribbon club urged students to be part of RRC as responsible citizens to save lives through awareness about HIV AIDS disease and precautions.
Throughout the programme, encouraged the students to ask questions, interact with peers, and familiarize themselves with the campus facilities. The feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive, with many students expressing excitement and confidence about their upcoming academic journey. The induction programme was meticulously planned and executed, thanks to the efforts of the organizing committee and the enthusiastic participation of both students and staff. Government Polytechnic Jammu is committed to ensuring that every student feels welcomed and well-prepared as they embark on their educational journey.
