JAMMU, Sept 13: District Election Officer Sachin Kumar Vaishya today said that Jammu District is well prepared for smooth conduct of polling scheduled on October 1, 2024- the third and last phase of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Elections. He was giving an overview of the overall preparedness and arrangements for elections at a meeting attended by General Observers, D. Amoy Kumar, Gopala Krishan K., Abhinav Chandra, Monica Malik, D. Sajith Babu, Priyanka Das, along with Expenditure Observers Amaresh Kumar Tiwari, B.K. Vishnu Priya and Gayatri M, and Police Observer Manav Verma. Nodal Officers responsible for various aspects of the elections were also present at the meeting. During the discussions, the Observers stressed on strict enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct and laid emphasis on ensuring that any violations are promptly dealt with to maintain the sanctity of the electoral process.
