Nagrota, Sept 15: Major General RK Sachdeva, Additional Director General, Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh NCC Directorate, felicitated and appreciated the exceptional achievements of NCC Cadets who participated in the prestigious Thal Sainik Camp in Delhi.
In an impressive ceremony at the NCC Training Academy, Nagrota, Maj Gen Sachdeva commended the outstanding performances of both the Boys and Girls Contingents. The Girls Contingent excelled by winning Silver Medals in Health and Hygiene, Tug of War, and Bronze Medals in Line Area and Tent Pitching Competitions, showcasing significant improvement in the FC/BC Competition compared to last year.
The Boys Contingent secured Bronze Medals in Tug of War and Quiz Competitions, demonstrating notable improvements in Health Hygiene, Tent Pitching, and FC/BC Competitions.
Maj Gen Sachdeva lauded the Contingent Commanders, Capt Shivani Sharma and First Officer Kanwar Singh, and the instructional staff for their dedication and hard work.
He also complimented Brig PS Cheema, SM, VSM, Group Commander, Jammu Group, for his meticulous planning and execution of the training, kitting, and logistics for the event.
The ceremony was a testament to the NCC Cadets’ unwavering commitment, discipline, and teamwork, inspiring others to strive for excellence.
