9/15/2024 10:15:44 PM

Early Times Report

Akhnoor, Sept 15: BJP candidate Mohan Lal Bhagat addressed multiple public meetings in the Akhnoor Assembly constituency, covering areas such as Sungal Lower B, Pangyari, Rajya Chak, and Bomal. During his speeches, he launched a scathing attack on Congress and the National Conference, accusing these parties of driving Jammu and Kashmir into an era of terrorism, stone-pelting, and chaos. In contrast, Bhagat emphasized that under BJP rule, Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed unprecedented development, and terrorism is now on its last breath. On Sunday, Mohan Lal Bhagat also visited Sahib Bandgi Ashram in Akhnoor, where he received the blessings of Sant Satguru Madhu Paramhans Sahib Ji during a spiritual gathering.
In his address, Bhagat credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership for the direct benefits the people of Jammu and Kashmir have received through schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, and Kisan Samman Nidhi. He framed the upcoming elections as a contest between nationalist forces and those working against the nation, expressing confidence that the people are firmly backing the BJP due to its unwavering commitment to the region’s development and security. The event saw the presence of prominent local figures including former Sarpanch Ram Pal Sharma, former Sarpanch Mahesh Chandra, social worker Ganesh Sharma, Sanjay Sharma, Mangat Singh, Suman Chib, Ramesh Chander, Capt Ram Saran, Satinder Kumar, Rahul Singh, Sohan Singh, Krishna Lal, Sanjay Kumar, Anchal Singh, and Rajya Sharma, among others.
