PM Modi forgot all his promises: Omar
9/16/2024 9:04:54 AM

Srinagar, Sep 15: National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah on Sunday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi forgot all his promises made to the people of Jammu and Kashmir during the past ten years.

Omar made these remarks while replying to a question about the Prime Minister Modi who had promised many developments to Jammu and Kashmir during his recent visit to Doda in an election rally.

“Prime Minister should give an account of what he has done in the last 10 years despite Jammu and Kashmir having a double-engine government,” Omar told media persons in Srinagar on Sunday.

Omar said, “First it was coalition with the Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, then Mehbboa Mufti, and now through the Raj Bhawan, what Jammu and Kashmir got on the ground during all these ten years of double engine government… Let the Prime Minister count, and later we will talk on other issues.”

Asked that Awami Itihad Party (AI) Chief Abdul Rashid Sheikh, popularly known as Engineer Rashid, is targeting the National Conference, Omar said, “Let him do..in what compulsion he is doing, he will only give the answer.”

The former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister said that “everyone is targeting the NC… Either it is Prime Minister, Central Government, Bharatiya Janata Party, PDP, or AIP, all are targeting us.”

Omar said there is a good response from the youth to the National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir. (Agencies)
