SAMBA, Sept 17: Police has arrested a notorious criminal and drug peddler Ghulam Rehmani @ Bachu wanted in multiple cases registered at Police Station Vijaypur.
Acting on reliable information, a police team of Police Station Vijaypur headed by SHO PS Vijaypur has arrested a notorious criminal involved in attacks on police parties and drug peddler from Rakh Barotain Vijaypur who was absconding in various cases registered against him at PS Vijaypur including case FIR No. 182/2023 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act, FIR No. 95/2024 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act, FIR No. 132/2023 U/S 307/382/353/332/336/147 /148 IPC and FIR No. 73/2024 U/S 307/353/332/336/147 IPC.
The arrested accused has been identified as Ghulam Rehmani @ Bachu S/o Gikki R/o Rakh Barotain tehsil Vijaypur district Samba. Further investigation is going on.
