Weekly Plantation Drive held at Vishwa Yog Sansthan

JAMMU, Sept 17: In a significant step towards promoting environmental awareness and sustainability, Vishwa Yog Sansthan organized a weekly plantation drive under the "Clean and Green Jammu" movement. The event witnessed active participation from students of the Sansthan, as well as enthusiastic residents from nearby areas.
Yog Guru Karan Ji addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of tree plantation, particularly on special occasions such as birthdays. He urged everyone to adopt the practice of planting at least one tree on their birthday, as a meaningful contribution to the environment. "This initiative, led by Vishwa Yog Sansthan, is aimed at making the community greener and healthier. Let us all make tree planting a part of our celebrations," he stated.
The event gained special significance as one of the Sansthan's dedicated students, Rakesh Kumar, marked his birthday by planting a tree, setting an inspiring example for others to follow.
The drive was further supported by the warm and gracious presence of Bansi Lal Gupta, who welcomed the participants and encouraged everyone to take an active role in such green initiatives.
The plantation drive has brought the local community together in a shared effort to enhance Jammu's green cover, promoting the values of environmental stewardship and sustainable living.
