| BJP poised to form govt in JK: Sham Sharma | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 17: While making a sharp attack on the Congress, NC and PDP, senior BJP leader and party candidate for Jammu North constituency, Sham Lal Sharma today said that with the growing popularity and impact of BJP in Jammu Kashmir, the leaders of these parties have been frustrated and giving misleading statements to regain power. He said these parties deprived the people of their basic rights for decades together and now they are frightened of their defeat in the elections.
Sharma said that current elections will be a game changer in the history of Jammu Kashmir which are being held after the abrogation of Article 370 and, people will uproot these parties and give mandate for the peace, security and prosperity of Jammu Kashmir. People in both the divisions have bitter experience about the mis-governance, poor performance and anti-people policies of these parties which led to spread the militancy in Jammu Kashmir that took thousands of innocent lives and put the economic growth of JK on the back burner.
Addressing public meetings in Jammu North constituency, Sham asserted that BJP is poised to form its exclusive government in Jammu and Kashmir with the overwhelming support of all sections of the society because of its people friendly programmes and policies. It is only the BJP which can handle the security scenario and bring peace, development and prosperity for the people. People want peace, development and natural justice with dignity and honour for which they remained deprived for over seven decades in Jammu Kashmir.
Promising better services and improved infrastructure in Jammu North, Sham Lal said that he will formulate a well-knit programme for the overall development of this constituency on modern lines. - |
