| NSS Unit GDC Sidhra conducts cleanliness drive under SHS campaign | | |

JAMMU, Sept 17: In a spirited display of civic responsibility and community engagement NSS unit GDC Sidhra organized cleanliness drive wherein students of all the semesters along with faculty members of the institution participated with full zeal and zest. Speaking at the occasion Principal Dr. G S Rakwal emphasized the importance of cleanliness in fostering a healthy and prosperous society, stressing the need of the hour for collective action to set high standards for cleanliness across communities.
He further highlighted that maintaining cleanliness is not merely a matter of aesthetics but also a fundamental requirement for ensuring good health.
The initiative concluded on a positive note with a commitment from all the participants to continue maintaining cleanliness in public spaces for the well-being of all citizens. Teaching and Non-teaching staff of the College along with NSS volunteers enthusiastically participated in the event.
The whole event was well organized by NSS Programme officer Dr. Purvaiya Hans along with her team under the able guidance of Principal Dr. G S Rakwal. |
