5-day workshop on SVEEP activities concludes

RAMNAGAR, Sept 18: The 5-day workshop on Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) activities, organized by the SVEEP Committee in collaboration with the NCORD Cell at Government Degree College (GDC) Ramnagar, concluded with a compelling lecture on the theme "Voting for a Change" delivered by Dr. Dinesh Kumar.
The workshop, held under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Bhavnaish Chand Anthal, Principal of GDC Ramnagar, aimed to educate students and faculty about the importance of voting and its potential to drive social change. Throughout the five days, participants engaged in various activities, including slogan preparation, a symposium on voting awareness, and interactive discussions to promote electoral participation.
The event was successfully coordinated by Prof. Sanjay Malhotra, a dedicated member of both the SVEEP Committee and the NCORD Cell. The workshop was spearheaded by Dr. Sunil Kumar, SVEEP Nodal Officer, and Dr. Sham Singh Kotwal, NCORD Nodal Officer.
The closing lecture by Dr. Dinesh Kumar emphasized the role of voters in shaping a just and equitable society and encouraged the participants to actively contribute to the democratic process.
The workshop was well-attended by faculty members, including Prof. Jatinder Lal, Prof. Parminder Kumar, Dr. Puyesh Kant Sharma, Dr. Jeevan Kumar, and others, who contributed to the success of the event.
This initiative is part of the college's ongoing efforts to raise awareness about the democratic process and foster civic responsibility among students.
