SAMBA, MARCH 25 - District Development Commissioner, Samba, Saurabh Bhagat today flagged off a group of 37 farmers from various blocks of district Samba on a 7-day tour outside the state.
These farmers will visit Dry Land Research Centre, Saunkhari, Billowal, Punjab Agriculture University Ludhiana and Horticulture University Palampur in order to acquaint themselves with the modern techniques adopted for development of horticulture.
Ajit Raj Choudhary, Horticulture Development Officer, Purmandal and Subash Dubey are accompanying the farmers on the tour. |
