Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 18: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta declared on Wednesday that his Party is committed to not only meeting but surpassing the expectations of the residents of Jammu and Kashmir, aiming to transform the region into a model of progress and development.
Kavinder made these remarks while flagging off a Video Van, along with Vikram Randhawa, BJP candidate for the Bahu constituency, in preparation for the upcoming Assembly elections. Among those who were present included Rakesh Mahajan, Ved Sharma, Neeraj Anand, Sham Langer, Ajay Gupta, Mukherjee Sharma, Bakshi ji and others.
Speaking to the media persons, Kavinder Gupta emphasized that a vote for the BJP in the Assembly polls would be a crucial step toward sustainable growth and would set a new standard for development in the region. He noted that the people of J&K have endured difficult times due to the misgovernance of dynastic political entities over the past 70 years. "The time has come to give the BJP a full opportunity to lead the region and address the issues the people have been yearning for over decades," he stated.
The senior BJP leader highlighted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has demonstrated his commitment to Jammu and Kashmir, and with a BJP government in the Union Territory, a development revolution is possible. He stressed that the double-engine government can achieve remarkable transformation, making J&K a developed territory on par with other modern states in India. "A majority BJP government in J&K is poised to accelerate the region's transformation into one of the most developed states in the country," he asserted.
Kavinder urged party members to work diligently to consolidate votes in favor of the BJP, as a decisive victory is essential for getting J&K back on track. He criticized dynastic parties for hindering the region's progress and emphasized that their defeat is crucial for advancing the interests of the people.
It is noteworthy that Kavinder Gupta is actively campaigning in the Bahu, Samba, and Vijaypur Assembly constituencies.
Later, he also addressed an intellectual meet in Samba, highlighting the key achievements of the Modi Government over the past decade.
Kavinder outlined the party's ambitious vision for Jammu and Kashmir's future, focusing on infrastructure development, economic growth, and improved governance, while also emphasizing the importance of ensuring lasting peace along borders and within the region. "The BJP's primary goal is to transform Jammu and Kashmir into a developed and prosperous region, fully integrated into the country's growth trajectory," Gupta concluded.
