Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 18: In a massive show of strength and preparation for the upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, Senior BJP leader and contesting candidate for Jammu West, Arvind Gupta, held a mega road show from Canal Head to Jewel Chowk today. The event witnessed a huge turnout of party workers, supporters, and local residents, all rallying behind Gupta’s candidacy as the election campaign for the crucial polls gains momentum.
The road show was organized in the presence of key BJP leaders, including District President Sh. Parmodh Kaphai, Ex-Corporator Sh. Jeet Angral, Mandal President Keshav Chopra, Ex-Dy Mayor Dharam Veer Jamwal, Ex-Corporator Sucha Singh, Ex-Corporator Surinder Singh, along with senior party members Munish Gupta, Anil Angral, Ramesh Kumar, and Surjeet Singh. Their participation, along with the overwhelming enthusiasm of party workers and sympathizers, underscored the BJP’s growing influence in Jammu West ahead of the Assembly polls.
Arvind Gupta was greeted with garlands and cheers as people from all walks of life came out to show their support for the BJP. Addressing the gathering, Gupta expressed his gratitude for the public’s unwavering faith in the BJP’s vision for a developed and progressive Jammu and Kashmir. He noted that the upcoming Assembly elections are a crucial opportunity for the people to choose a government that will continue to bring development and prosperity under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Linking the road show to the larger electoral battle ahead, Gupta stated, "The people of Jammu West are sending a clear message: they want change, they want progress, and they want a government that works for them.
The upcoming Assembly polls are a defining moment for our region. For 55 to 60 years, opposition parties have done nothing except loot the resources of this great nation. They failed to provide basic infrastructure, governance, or opportunities for the common people."
He continued, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP has introduced transparency, development, and good governance. From the historic abrogation of Article 370 to a range of welfare schemes that have benefited every section of society, the Modi government has transformed Jammu and Kashmir.
The people now have a choice: to vote for continued development and progress, or to fall back into the stagnation of the past.”
Gupta emphasized that the BJP is committed to the future of Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting key welfare schemes, infrastructure projects, and employment opportunities initiated under the Modi regime.
