REASI, MARCH 25 - The Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Reasi, Baldev Raj Sharma chaired meeting of Rogi Kalayan Samiti convened by the health department in the District Hospital Reasi last evening.
Earlier, Sharma visited various wards of the hospital, met with patients and enquired about their health and the facilities being provided to them from the hospital. He issued on the spot instructions to the hospital authorities for improving sanitation, power supply and drinking water facilities in the hospital. He also asked for purchase of required office furniture, AC for emergency wards, 8 number new tyers for vehicles, invertors and appointment of 2 drivers on consolidated pay @ Rs.2500/-p.m. He also asked that rupees ten thousand be kept in hand for shifting the serious nature patients to Medical College, Jammu during odd hours.
Among others, Medical Superintendent, BMO, BDO, AEE R&B, PDD, PHE, DPO, Assistant Information Officer as members while Smt Chander Kanta Sharma (Eminent citizen and Devinder Kumar (NGO) participated in the meeting. |
