| CME on surgical theatre safety protocols organised | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 21: One day CME on surgical theatre safety protocols for successful operations was organised on 21 Sept 2024 by Association of operation theatre Technologist, Jammu in collaborations with Govt. Hospital Gandhi Nagar at Conference Hall, Govt. Hospital Gandhi Nagar Jammu. The overview of continuing Medical Education (CME) was to create awareness amongst the Medical Professionals including paramedical regarding the safe protocols for successful operations. This is first time when such type of CME is being organized by keeping in view the need of such topic in the interest of better patient care.
The CME was attended by Dr. Rakesh Magotra, wothry Director, Health Services, Jammu. Patron of CME Dr.Abdul Hamid Zargar, Medical Superintendent, Govt. Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, Org Chairperson Dr. Balwinder Singh, Dy. Medical Superintendent. Besides consultants and delegates from Jammu Province attended the CME.
Those who delivered lecture presentation on safety protocols of Operations theatre were:

2. Ms. Shivani Sood (Sr. OT Technician)
3. Dr. Kanav Padha (Sr. Consultant orthopaedics & Joint replacement surgeon)
4. Dr. Rohit Lahori (Interventional pain & Palliative care specialist GHGNJ)
Speaking on the occasion, Dr.Rakesh Magotra,DHS, Jammu congratulated the organising secretary Mr. Jaswinder singh for organizing CME and advised to organize more such kind of CMEs in future, so that, the knowledge/ latest technology is updated and learned by the OT staff. |
