| S P, R K, Rajinder lead with 2 pts in Chess | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, March 25: Former state champion and title contender, S P Sharma of National Sample Survey Organisation (NSSO) among three competitors are leading with two points at the end of round two in the two-day Chess Tournament organised by Central Government Employees Welfare Coordination Committee (CGEWCC) at NSSO Office, here today.
Other two leading players are R K Sharma of NSSO and Rajinder Gupta of Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) winning both their rounds on the day one of the competition.
As many as five competitors are trailing behind with one point each while Sanjeev Sharma of Survey of India (SOI) has half point out of a draw in his account. Remaining three of the 12 participants, Naresh Joshi (IIIM), A K Bhat (CWC) and Mahesh Sharma (NSSO) are yet to open their account.
Earlier, the two-day tournament was declared open by Joint Director, NSSO, Kishore Kumar.
