| General Observer holds meeting, inspects Polling Station in Jasrota AC | | |

KATHUA, Sept 22: As part of the ongoing preparations for the upcoming Assembly Elections-2024, General Observer Sunil Kumar Yadav today conducted a meeting with Micro Observers in the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex followed by a visit to polling stations across Assembly Constituency (AC) 66-Jasrota.
In the meeting, the General Observer emphasized the crucial role of Micro Observers in ensuring the integrity and smooth conduct of the electoral process. He directed the Micro Observers to stay vigilant and report any anomalies or discrepancies to the authorities promptly. The meeting was also attended by ACD Kathua Akhil Sadhotra who is also the Returning Officer for the 66-Jasrota Assembly Constituency. During his visit to polling stations, the General Observer assessed the Assured Minimum facilities in polling stations. He also interacted with local officials and stakeholders to address any concerns. |
