| Crackdown of illegal mining 4 vehicles seized by Police | | |

JAMMU SepT 23 :- In a drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators, especially during election period, Jammu Police has initiated strict action against the criminals involved in illegal mining & minting money out of the public resources.
In an operation which was carried out at different locations in South Zone of District Jammu, PP Phallain Mandal under PSI Harish Chander detained 03 vehicles loaded with sand seized under illegal mining. It is important to note that some vehicles had no registration number on them. On other hand, PP Nehru Market under PSI Ajesh Jamwal seized 01 truck/dumper.
In all, 03 vehicles have been seized in jurisdiction of PS Satwari and 01 vehicle has been seized under jurisdiction of PS Gandhinagar of South Zone by JKP.
After detaining of these vehicles District Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal actions.
Jammu Police is committed for protecting the public property and to eradicate the menace illegal mining in the area |
