Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 24: Taranjit Singh Tony, Congress candidate contesting from the Bahu constituency, emphasized the increasing number of people joining the Congress Party due to the anti-people policies of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Addressing a gathering today during his election campaign at Qasim Nagar in Bahu constituency, Tony stated, "The ongoing discontent among the public regarding the BJP's policies has led to a significant shift towards Congress. People are realizing that the BJP's governance has failed to address their needs and aspirations."
Criticizing the BJP for their lack of action over the past decade, Tony said, "For ten long years, the BJP has done nothing for the welfare of the people. Their promises have remained unfulfilled, and the reality on the ground speaks volumes. The rising unemployment, soaring prices, and deteriorating infrastructure are a testament to their neglect."
Highlighting recent developments, Tony announced the joining of prominent BJP leaders, including Sh. Lekhraj and youth leader Lakhan Raja from Qasim Nagar, along with their supporters into the Congress Party. “This is a clear indication that the public is rejecting the divisive and ineffective governance of the BJP and is looking towards Congress for a better future,” he added.
Tony expressed gratitude to the new members for their decision, stating, “Together, we will work towards a more inclusive and progressive agenda that prioritizes the welfare of the people in Bahu constituency.”
As the election campaign intensifies, Tony reiterated his commitment to addressing the pressing issues faced by the community, including unemployment, inflation, and inadequate infrastructure. He urged the electorate to support Congress in Assembly elections to bring about meaningful change and development in the region.
