JAMMU, Sept 24: Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), reiterated that the NC has always been the pillar of peace, prosperity, brotherhood, and sacrifices in the J&K. He said that the party is committed to fight for the restoration of peace, prosperity and ensuring the welfare of the people of J&K, who have suffered tremendously due to the flawed policies of the BJP’s double engine government.
Addressing a public meeting at Belicharana, organized by Jatinder Singh Lucky, former Vice Chairman of the Cantonment Board Jammu, Rattan Lal Gupta highlighted the challenges J&K faces under the current administration. “The suffering of the people has multiplied, terrorism is on the rise, inflation is unbearable, and there are no policies for the youth. The BJP’s hollow governance has left the people of Jammu and Kashmir disillusioned and struggling,” he said.
The Provincial President appealed to the people of Belicharan and Bahu constituency to extend their full support and votes to Taranjit Singh Tony.
He emphasized that Tony is a deserving candidate who possesses the dedication and vision needed to bring positive change to the regionHe urged the electorate to stand united and back Tony in his efforts to ensure development and progress for Belicharan and Bahu constituencies.
Addressing the meeting Mr Lal Ji Dessai and Jinetash MLA from Gujarat said that the graph of BJP popularity is going down is day by day in India because people know that BJP betraying the people in the name of development and anti people policies.
Notably, today’s meeting was organised in support of Alliance Candidate for Bahu Constituency Taranjit Singh Tony for Assembly elections.
In his address, Taranjit Singh Tony emphasized that the BJP had committed a monumental blunder by stripping Jammu and Kashmir of its statehood, which deeply hurt the sentiments of its people. He strongly condemned this action and assured that the NC-Congress alliance would work tirelessly to undo this injustice.
Tony reiterated that the restoration of statehood and the safeguarding of the rights of the youth and all citizens of Jammu and Kashmir would be the top priority for the alliance. He expressed confidence that under their leadership, J&K would regain its dignity and rightful status.
Tony also announced that their government would provide 1 lakh jobs for the youth of J&K, extensive welfare measures including crop insurance, minimum support prices, financial aid for farmers, unemployment allowances for youth, and substantial health and financial support for women among others. He also vowed to protect the mining mafia and save Jammu from the land mafia and liquor mafia.
Tony urged the people of Bahu constituency to support and vote in favour of Congress so that the mission to restore the dignity and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir.
