Early Times Report

JAMMU, Sept 24: As the Assembly elections approach, senior BJP leader and contesting candidate from Jammu West, Arvind Gupta has intensified his campaign, delivering a clear message to voters: Only the BJP can secure the future of Jammu & Kashmir and continue the transformative journey that has already begun under its leadership. With a dynamic vision for growth and a roadmap that promises prosperity, peace, and empowerment for all sections of society, he is rallying strong support across his constituency.
Arvind Gupta emphasized that the BJP has not only transformed Jammu & Kashmir in the last few years but is the only party capable of sustaining and accelerating that progress. From the abrogation of Article 370 to record-breaking infrastructure development, he reminded voters of the monumental changes that have been achieved under BJP governance, urging them to support the party for continued development and stability.
Addressing enthusiastic crowds, Arvind Gupta laid out key promises of BJP, starting with job creation. Under the Pandit Prem Nath Dogra Rozgar Yojana, he said that the Party is committed to providing 5 lakh new jobs, addressing the aspirations of the youth who seek meaningful employment and opportunities within the region. He stressed that the BJP’s proven ability to generate jobs, attract investment, and create a business-friendly environment makes it the only party that can guarantee a bright future for the youth.
Empowering women is at the heart of Arvind Gupta’s campaign, with the Maa Samman Yojana set to provide Rs 18,000 annually to women. He spoke passionately about enabling women to become financially independent and key contributors to the economic development of the state, highlighting how BJP initiatives have already brought women into the mainstream.
Arvind Gupta also pledged a revolution in education, promising free laptops and tablets to students to help bridge the digital divide, and a Rs 3,000 travel allowance to ensure students have better access to educational institutions. He underscored that under BJP’s leadership, education would become a powerful tool for empowerment and progress in Jammu & Kashmir.
One of the cornerstones of Arvind Gupta’s campaign is infrastructure development. He committed to the introduction of a Metro service for Jammu City and the construction of 10,000 kilometers of new roads, which will boost connectivity, facilitate trade, and improve daily commutes for residents. His promise of 5 Marlas of free land for the poor underscores the BJP’s dedication to uplifting the marginalized and ensuring housing for all.
Arvind Gupta’s rallying cry was clear: the BJP has already proven its mettle in transforming Jammu & Kashmir, and only the BJP has the strength, vision, and will to take the state into a new era of progress, security, and prosperity.
He appealed to people of West Constituency to place their trust in the BJP, the only party that has consistently delivered on its promises and transformed the landscape of Jammu & Kashmir. “With your support, we can continue the journey of development, peace, and prosperity, ensuring a brighter future for our youth, women, farmers, and every citizen. Your vote is crucial in securing a stable, progressive, and empowered Jammu & Kashmir,” he added.
Among those present were former Minister Bali Bhagat, State Treasurer Prabhat Singh, Mandal President Keshav Chopra, Atul Bakshi, Anu Bali, Parveen Ghai, Vikrant Gupta, Kuljeet Jamwal, Tripta Jamwal, Ranu Choudhary, Ravinder Singh, State Co-Treasurer Prem Gupta, Rakesh Gupta, former Corporator Surinder Choudhary, Adarsh Balls, and Kuldeep Mangotra.
