14th District Srinagar Taekwondo Championships 2024-25 announced

SRINAGAR, Sept 27: The Taekwondo Association of District Srinagar is excited to announce the "14th District Srinagar Taekwondo Championships 2024-25," organized in collaboration with the J&K Taekwondo Association (Regd.) and the J&K Sports Council. The championship will be held from 30th September to 1st October 2024 at the Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex, Srinagar, under the banner of the "MY YOUTH MY PRIDE" initiative.
The championship is open to Sub-Junior, Cadet, Junior, and Senior players from District Srinagar. This event aims to identify top athletes who will represent District Srinagar in the upcoming 27th J&K UT Taekwondo Championships 2024-25.
Only medalists from this competition will qualify for the 27th J&K UT Taekwondo Championships. It is mandatory for all athletes to have a valid JKTA Athlete License, and entries will not be accepted without it. Additionally, Senior athletes must possess Black Belt certificates, in accordance with the guidelines of the Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI), to participate in the UT-level championship.
The decision to host the event and the associated guidelines were made unanimously by the office bearers of the Taekwondo Association of District Srinagar, under the leadership of the association's President.
