Drive against adulteration continues, adulterated milk destroyed

Jammu, Mar 26- Continuing its drive against adulteration in the Jammu city, a team of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today seized 13 cans of adulterated milk from milk vendors at Subesh Nagar, Bakshi Nagar, Toph, Rahari Colony, Sarwal etc
The drive was launched by Municipal Veterinary Officer (MVO) Dr Vireshwar Sharma against adulterated and low quality milk being sold by the vendors at different areas of Jammu City. During this anti-adulteration drive 13 cans of adulterated milk was seized from Milk vendors which was destroyed on spot and a fine of Rs.1600 was realized from them.
Dr. Vireshwar Sharma said that this inspection drive was launched in various places of Jammu city to curb the tendency of supplying adulterated milk.
