Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 27: Unbridled inflation, unemployment are the main issues, public attention cannot be diverted by hollow promises like return of POK, restoration of state status, stated by Manish Sahni , president, Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu-Kashmir unit.
Today, in the presence of party state chief Manish Sahni, party candidates from Jammu West Meenakshi Chhibber campaigned door-to-door in Talab Tillo, Subhash Nagar and Bakshi Nagar areas. She said that unbridled inflation, unemployment is going to prove to be the main issue in the last phase. There is a lot of resentment among the public towards BJP regarding the rising prices of oil, flour, vegetables, fruits. Most of the people believe that the BJP has given a free hand to traders and black marketers to meet the election expenses.
Along with this A public meeting was also organised in ward 7 in favour of party candidate Jai Bharat (Bharti) from Bishnah assembly constituency. On this occasion Sahni said that the BJP Jumla Mandali is trying to mislead the public by making false promises and statements in their flowery speeches. Those who claim to make PoK a part of India after the elections did not remember PoK during their two tenures at the Centre. At the same time, despite the long gap of five years, Jammu and Kashmir has not been given the status of a state.
