Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre organizes free Ayurvedic Medical Camp

Jammu, Sept 28: Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre organised a Free Ayurvedic Medical Camp on Saturday, 28 September 2024.
The camp offered a range of Ayurvedic diagnostic services and treatments, including Shirodhara, Nasyam, and Kshar Sutra therapies.
The camp was led by specialists from the Government Ayurvedic Medical College (GAMC), Akhnoor.
Dr. Sudesh Gupta, an expert in Kshar Sutra treatment, providing consultations for conditions like piles, fistula, and other related ailments. Dr. Twinkle Gupta, and Dr. Shailej Gupta, the specialists in treating chronic conditions such as diabetes, joint pain, stress, and anxiety, was also available for consultations.
As part of the camp, free Shirodhara therapy was offered to treat high blood pressure, stress, and insomnia. Additionally, Kshar Sutra therapy for fistula and piles, along with Nasyam therapy for nasal, throat, and eye conditions. Free medicines were distributed to all attendees to support their recovery and wellness.
The camp saw an overwhelming response, with more than 100 patients examined by the expert team. Each patient received personalized attention, and free medicines were distributed to ensure continued care and treatment after the camp.
The event was met with appreciation and gratitude from the local community, who commended the doctors and students for their dedication to providing quality healthcare.
The Ramakrishna Mission Hospital extends its heartfelt thanks to Dr. Sudesh Gupta, Dr. Twinkle Gupta, Dr. Shailej Gupta, the dedicated team of interns and final-year students for their tireless efforts in making the camp a success. Their collective contributions ensured that the camp delivered comprehensive and compassionate healthcare to all who attended.
Swami Yajnadharananda, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu, highlighted the organization’s commitment to the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna Dev, Maa Sarada, and Swami Vivekananda, emphasizing service to humanity as a form of divine worship. He also announced plans to organize such free camps monthly.
