Jodhamal students bag six medals at CBSE North Zone Skating Championship

JAMMU, Sept 29: Jodhamal Public School is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of its roller-skating team at the recently concluded CBSE North Zone Roller Skating Championship at Ambala. Our talented athletes not only showcased their skills but also demonstrated remarkable sportsmanship and dedication, earning accolades that reflect their hard work and training.
The Championship witnessed intense competition from various schools across the North Zone, but our students stood out with their exceptional performances. The results speak volumes about their commitment to excellence in sports, contributing to the school's growing reputation in co-curricular activities and sports arena.
The Medal Winners from Jodhamal in the CBSE North Zone Roller Skating Championship are:
Naisha Verma: Gold Medal in 1000 mtrs race
Tabish Haider Chib: Gold Medal in 1000 mtr race and Silver Medal in 500 mtr race
Pavit Gupta: Silver Medal in 1-lap road race and Bronze Medal 500 mtr race
Aarav Sharma: Bronze Medal in 1-lap road race
Naisha Verma, Tabish Haider Chib and Pavit Gupta have been selected to participate in the Skating Nationals to be held in Karnataka. These athletes were mentored by their coaches Kamal Anand and Ritish.
These achievements highlight not just individual excellence but also the collaborative spirit and support from coaches, peers, and the school community. The faculty and staff at Jodhamal Public School have played a pivotal role in nurturing these young talents, providing them with the resources and encouragement needed to excel.
This is pertinent to share that this year Jodhamal Students have participated in International Skating Tournaments and brought home glory from international arena too. Our teams participated in Macau and China and won medals there as well.
