| Azad visits Mazar-e-Shouda, pays tributes to martyrs | | | Srinagar, July 13 – Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad led the people of the state to pay homage to the martyrs of July 13, 1931 today. Mr. Azad laid floral wreaths at Mazar-e-Shouda at Khawaja Bazar here this morning. A contingent of police presented guard of honour and reversed the arms while buglers sounded the last post in honour of the martyrs. Minister for Youth Services and Sports Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed also accompanied Mr. Azad and offered floral tributes to the martyrs. Earlier, Mr. Azad paid obeisance at the Ziarat of Hazrat Naqashband Sahib and prayed for peace and prosperity of the state. Director General of Police Mr. Gopal Sharma, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Mr. Basharat Ahmad and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
