| GDC Thannamandi organises an extension lecture | | | Early Times Report
Thanamandi, Sept 30: GDC Thannamndi under the patronage of Principal Dr Farooq Ahmed organised an Extension lecture on the distance mode undergraduate and post graduate programmes being offered by MANU. The Programme started with the formal welcome of the resource person Dr Abdul Ghani Regional Director MANU Jammu region by the Dr Abdul Haq Naimi , Head Dept of Urdu and Coordinator MANU of the college. Dr. Adul Ghani elaboratively discussed the significance of the distance mode and how it caters to the educational needs of thousands of students every year.MANU offers the flexibility of providing education at their doorsteps in Urdu language. Dr Abdul Ghani also deliberated on the career avenues available after completion of their course and also motivated the students to take advantage of the Study Centre MANU available at GDC Thannamandi.The College has been alloted a Study Centre by MANU to fulfill the educational needs of far flung students from Pir Panjal region. On this occasion Prof.Nazakat Hussain Vice Principal of the college also added grace to the elocution by expressing his views and motivation to the students.The programme concluded with felicitation to the resource person and formal vote of thanks by Dr Abdul Haq Naimi.The programme was graced by Dr. Ather Aziz Raina,Head Dept. of Applied Mathematics. The programme enlightened a large number of students from various semesters. |
