| INIFD celebrates creativity day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 26: The International Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD). Since it inception in the city of temples for the last 12 years has given recognition to the fashion industry of J&K state. INIFD in collaboration with university of Annamalai has given degrees and diplomas in field of fashion, interior and textile. The main aim of the INIFD is to prepare students in fashion design with values which take them ahead in all sphere of life career. As per press release keeping in mind its tradition of highlighting creativity and innovation INIFD celebrated creativity day here today as the theme was “Best out of Waste” The journey of transformation. Things like newspapers, polythene bags, paper cups, paper glasses, and spoons etc, the things which normally one throws away were used to create dresses. They created the most interesting and exciting collection by using all the waste products and most of the students to use these dresses in their collection at the forthcoming fashion show of INIFD.
Centre Manager Mrs Gunjan Kohli on the occasion said, that by such activities one can explore their own potentials and hidden talents. The students and faculty members were dressed up in designer and innovative dresses and the whole institute was highlighted by the vibrant colours at the onset of Navratras.
