NILM NGO hosts school-level painting competition on environmental conservation | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 1: The National Incredible Literacy Mission (NILM) organized a school-level painting competition at Guru Nanak Public School Gole Gujral Road ,Jammu centered around the theme of "Environmental Conservation." The event aimed to engage students in creative expressions that promote awareness of environmental issues. Over 26 students participated, showcasing their artistic talents while addressing crucial topics such as pollution, climate change, biodiversity, and sustainable practices. The artworks submitted were a testament to the students' understanding of the importance of protecting our planet. This competition was organized by NILM NGO to aware the school children about green wealth and need of conservation of forest ,water and other need full environment resources. "This year many students learned the values of environment and water conservation through painting" Thakur KD Kurhan Chairman NILM said. In her opening remarks, Manjeet Kour Saini the principal of Guru Nanak Public School, highlighted the significance of art in advocating for environmental issues. "Through art, we can inspire change and encourage our young minds to become stewards of the environment," she stated. Neelam Kumari school P.E.T teacher also actively participated in the event.
