JAMMU, Oct 1: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta today commended the people of the Jammu region for their overwhelming participation in the third and final phase of the Assembly polls. He expressed gratitude for the enthusiasm displayed by voters, noting that this unprecedented turnout is a testament to the flourishing democracy under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
Reflecting on past elections, Kavinder Gupta highlighted how previously, people were indifferent towards casting their votes. However, this time, the spirit of democracy prevailed, with people coming out in large numbers to exercise their right to vote. "The change we are witnessing today is due to the efforts of the Modi government, which has strengthened the democratic process and empowered citizens to take an active role in shaping their future," he remarked.
During the day, Kavinder Gupta visited various polling booths across the Bahu constituency to personally take stock of the smooth voting process. He interacted with voters, ensuring that the polling was conducted without any hindrances, and expressed his appreciation for their participation.
The former Deputy Chief Minister thanked the people of Jammu region for their overwhelming support and dedication to democracy, emphasizing that this election marks a new era of political engagement in the Union Territory. He reiterated his confidence in the BJP's commitment to the welfare of the people and the continued development of Jammu and Kashmir.
"The people have shown great faith in the democratic system, and the massive turnout reflects their trust in the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Together, we will continue to build a brighter future for our state," he added..
