DLSA organises cleanliness drive to observe Gandhi Jayanti

SAMBA, Oct 2: In a remarkable display of commitment to the principles of cleanliness and sustainable living, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Samba, under the aegis of J&K Legal Services Authority spearheaded a stellar "SWACHTA HI SEWA - 2024" at District Court Complex, Samba.
Under the leadership and guidance of Chairman DLSA, Samba, Ravinder Nath Wattal and under the guidance of Sandeep Singh Sen, Secretary DLSA Samba, "SWACHTA HI SEWA - 2024" witnessed enthusiastic participation of Arvind Sharma, Addl. District and Sessions Judge, Samba, Umesh Sharma, Chief Judicial Officer Samba, Himani Parihar, Munsiff, Samba, Rashi Verma, Mobile Magistrate, Samba, and Kritika Sethi, Addl. Munsiff and staff members of DLSA, Samba, members of the Legal Aid Defense Counsel (LADC), Penal Lawyers, devoted Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) and diligent officials from the Municipal Committee Samba.
The event commenced with an inspiring cleanliness drive within the District Court Complex Samba, setting the tone for cleaner and greener environment. Participants in a collective effort to clean and beautify their surroundings took up brooms to sweep away the debris of neglect, breathing new life into the surroundings. This initiative is a testament to the indomitable spirit of our community and our unwavering commitment to the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.
The participants also took pledge that they shall take keen interest in keeping their surroundings neat and clean.
