Jammu Airport launches special campaign 4.0 for cleanliness

JAMMU, Oct 2: Jammu Airport today launched "Swachhta Abhiyaan Special Campaign 4.0," a month-long cleanliness drive as part of its commitment to creating a clean and hygienic environment. The campaign, running from October 2 to October 31, 2024, aims to enhance the cleanliness standards at the airport, contributing towards the nationwide mission for cleanliness and hygiene.
The inaugural event of the campaign was led by Airport Director, S.K. Garg, B.M.Kaul GM (Engg)-Project and CASO CISF, Daniel Dhanraj, who actively participated in the cleanliness drive along with other staff members. The event commenced at 10:30 AM with airport staff and stakeholders coming together to clean the premises, creating an inspiring atmosphere of community participation and responsibility.
The Swachhta Abhiyaan is part of the larger "Special Campaign 4.0" initiative to address cleanliness in public areas and enhance public services. Jammu Airport aims to set an example by maintaining a safe, healthy, and clean environment for all its passengers, visitors, and staff.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various teams and departments, highlighting the airport's collaborative effort to support the Government of India's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. As part of this campaign, Jammu Airport will continue its efforts to enhance the cleanliness and efficiency of its services for the rest of the month.
