JAMMU, Oct 2: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta on Wednesday said that the Saffron party is all set to get a historic mandate on October 8, the day of counting of votes for recently held assembly polls.
In a statement issued to media persons, he said that the aforesaid date is poised to be the ‘victory day’ for the BJP as the party is poised to receive a full mandate to form the government independently on this virtuous day.
“The BJP leadership both at the centre and in the UT has taken good care of the concerns of the residents and mitigated their problems with commitment and transparency. The party took all the possible steps to boost economy, rebuild infrastructure, and ensure security, and in return has won the confidence of the people”, he said adding that BJP’s focus on good governance and welfare schemes has created a significant impact, particularly among youth, women, and marginalized communities, and that’s the reason behind saffron brigade getting unprecedented number of seats on October 8, 2024 as people have chosen progress over stagnation.
Kavinder asserted that BJP is all set with its plan to summit all the bottlenecks hampering development and peace in the region. He asked the people to get ready for colossal development post October 8, when the BJP will take over the reins of the UT for steering it towards new heights of progress and development. |
