Holy Chhadi Yatra of Shri Mata Vaishnodevi departs, darshan on first auspicious Navratri

JAMMU, Oct 2: Shiv Sena (UBT) 42nd Holy Chhari Yatra departed from famous Shri Raghunath Ji temple , Jammu today in the form of a Shoba yatra. Bal Saint Shri Sahil Ji Maharaj flagged off the Yatra by showing the saffron flag. Chhari Puja will be performed on the first Shubh Navratra at Holy Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Darbar on 3rd oct.
Today, after worship at the famous and Historical Shri Raghunath Ji temple of Jammu, Shri Mata Vaishnodevi's Holy Chhari and Akhand Jyoti departed in the form of a Shoba yatra.
Swaying to the beats of drums and chanting Maa's Jai, the Shoba Yatra passed from Raghunath Bazaar, Purani Mandi, Rajtilak Road to Kol Kandoli temple in Nagrota. From where, after the darshan of Maa Bhagwati, the Yatra proceeded towards Katra. On reaching the religious city of Katra, the Yatra was given a rousing welcome by the Shiv Sena Katra unit. Party state chief Manish Sahni said that on October 3, on the first auspicious Navratri, people will get the privilege of performing Chhari Poojan and Holy darshan of Maa Vaishno Devi.
He said that will pray at the feet of Maa Bhagwati for the prosperity, progress, peace and mutual brotherhood of the country and Jammu and Kashmir. Sahni has strongly condemned the lack of support from the administration during the Chhari Yatra. At the same time, the cooperation of the Dharmarth Trust was appreciated. On this occasion Bal Sant Sahil Ji Maharaj was the chief guest and party's national organizer Ashok Tiwari, Dharmarth Trust secretary Ashok Sharma were present as special guests.
