Traffic advisory for Legend's League Cricket Matches 2024

JAMMU, Oct 2: In light of the upcoming Legend's League Cricket matches, scheduled from October 3, 2024, to October 7, 2024, at M.A. Stadium, Jammu, the Traffic Police has issued a detailed advisory for the smooth flow of traffic during the event. A large number of spectators from across Jammu and Kashmir and beyond are expected to attend, which may lead to significant traffic in the city.
Traffic & Parking Guidelines:
Parking for Spectators:
Spectators coming from Bakshi Nagar, Ambphalla, Janipur, Talab Tillo, and Akhnoor side should park their vehicles at designated parking slots in the North Jurisdiction.
Spectators from Kunjwani, Narwal, and adjoining areas are advised to use parking facilities in the South Jurisdiction.
Alternative Routes:
To reduce traffic congestion, people traveling between North and South Jammu are encouraged to use the 4th Tawi Bridge or Gujjar Nagar Bridge.
Restricted Movement Near M.A. Stadium:
The general public and motorists are advised to avoid unnecessary movement around the stadium area during the matches to prevent jamming.
