| Agriculture deptt. organizes interactive programme with farmers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Doda, Mar 27: In order to sensitize farming community of district Doda a pre-seasonal Kharief 2009 awareness cum interactive program was held here today. During the interactive session Chief Agriculture Officer Nanaji Pandita and experts from SKUAST, KVK, Bhaderwah and agriculture department district Doda had face to face discussions with the farmers who came up with the feedback regarding problems being faced at ground level. The experts present at the occasion briefed in person on spot about remedial measures, the release added. For hardcore problems it was decided that the experts from the agriculture department and SKUAST, KVK Bhaderwah shall make a joint visit to the farmers field for on spot assessment of ground level realities, and will impart guidance to the farmers on merit of the problems. More than 500 farmers of the area attended the program. |
