Jammu, Oct 2: After the successful conduct of all the phases of assembly elections, the Core Group of BJP discussed the post-poll scenario in the Union Territory.
The BJP's core group meeting, held under the chairmanship of party leader Ram Madhav, was filled with optimism and confidence after the completion of the three-phase Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
The party leaders were buoyant about forming a government with the support of Independents and smaller parties.
They were hopeful of emerging as the single largest party, with the National Conference (NC) coming in second and the Congress party taking third place.
According to sources, the BJP leaders were expecting to secure at least 30 seats out of the total 43 seats in the Jammu province. This optimism was fueled by the party's performance in the previous elections and the feedback from booth-level workers.
