| KVIC organizing exhibition of its products form today | | Parade Ground | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Mar 27: The khadi and village industries commission (KVIC) is holding zonal level exhibition under PMEGP at Parade ground, Jammu from March 28 to April 6 to live demonstration of its products.
About 75 khadi and V.I.instutions are taking part in this exhibition. These institutions are from J&K, Punjab, Haryana, UP and Uttranchal. The exhibitions all over the country provides opportunity for marketing of khadi and V.I. products besides KVIC also offering rebate on khadi from time to time.
The basic purpose of the exhibition is to popularize khadi and village industries products and to give an opportunity to small entrepreneurs, institutions to sale their products in the exhibition. The another important features of this exhibitions is to provide awareness amongst the consumers about the latest designs and varieties of khadi fabrics and products etc in KVI sector.
He further said scheme is beneficial to the entrepreneurs and unemployed youths of J&K. Under REGP and PMEGP, the KVIC has provided self employment opportunities to over 1.00 Lakh persons in state. |
