Jammu, Mar 27: A new theatre group under name and title ‘Prayaas’ has been established in the region by a group of youngsters on the eve of the World Theatre Day. As per press release the theatre is to take up pressing issues confronted by the people, especially by the youth.
The group comprises of Anil Kumar, Dimple Sharma, Julie Mohan, Smrity Sharma, Ashish Sharma, Mokshi Bali, Isha Tagger, Sarang Vaid, Poonam Handa, Bhasha Sumbli, Priya Raina and Vikram Sharma and Ashish Kant Sharma. The group is going to platform its first play “Loktantra” is Dogri (based on the current political scenario) on March 31 at the Brig. Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu at 2.00 pm. |
