Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 3: Inspired by the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the mega exhibition “Rise in Jammu and Kashmir 2024” was inaugurated today at the Royal Estate Resort on Akhnoor Road by Rajya Sabha MP Ghulam Ali Khatana. The event is part of the nationwide Amrit Kaal celebrations, showcasing India’s progress and development across various sectors.
The exhibition features display from nearly 45 national and state-level institutions, including major organizations like DRDO, ISRO, Power Grid, Geological Survey of India (GSI), CSIR, Coir Board, ICAR, C-DAC, and ICMR. These institutions are showcasing their achievements, providing a comprehensive overview of advancements made in recent years. Scientists from these prestigious organizations are also present to engage with the public and students.
Speaking at the event, MP Ghulam Ali Khatana emphasized how the exhibition reflects India’s growth over the past decade, noting that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the country has embraced the principles of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.” He highlighted that India’s all-around development, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir, is being supported by the central government, ensuring that the benefits of progress reach every citizen.
The exhibition is a unique opportunity for Jammu’s youth to engage with the country’s scientific and technological achievements. Khatana urged young people to make the most of this event, expressing pride that such a prestigious exhibition is being held in Jammu. “This exhibition will greatly benefit our youth and serve as an inspiration for the future,” he added.
As part of the ongoing celebrations for India’s Amrit Mahotsav, the exhibition underscores the country’s rapid advancements in numerous fields, positioning India as a global leader and setting the stage for a prosperous and self-reliant future.
From October 3 to 5, students from various schools and colleges in Jammu will have the opportunity to explore the exhibits, gaining valuable insights into cutting-edge developments. The exhibition is open to all age groups and is free of charge, making it accessible to the general public.
